We want you to be satisfied and stand behind all of our products. NON PRODUCE ITEMS: Books, seed, and soil may be returned for a 100% refund. JUICERS: If you return a juicer in new, unused condition with complete original carton and packing materials, we issue 100% refund. If food has come in contact with the juicer and the juicer is not defective, we charge a 50% restocking fee. All juicers are covered by manufacturer's warranties. PRODUCE ITEMS: All fresh wheatgrass and greens are harvested fresh daily and are shipped to reach you in less than 24 hours. Please let us know if you receive any produce in less than excellent condition. We will send you a replacement or refund 100% of your money, whichever you choose. Gourmet Greens guarantees the freshness of our produce only when it is delivered within 24 hours of shipping. In much of the Northeast, we are able to deliver within 24 hours by UPS Ground. In the rest of the Continental United States, it must be shipped by UPS Next Day Air to arrive to your door within 24 hours. Please call or e-mail Rich Rommer for return authorization before returning any item. Shipping charges are not refundable.

UPS  Ground Delivery  -  From our Vermont greenhouses we can ship overnight to all of Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and parts of Maine and New York (not greater NYC metropolitan area) using less expensive UPS Ground Delivery. One pound of wheatgrass makes ten ounces of juice. For best nutritional value, juice should be consumed immediately after juicing.

We do not ship wheatgrass still growing in soil in a tray as this would involve excessive packaging and high shipping costs. Gourmet
Greens fresh wheatgrass is harvested in the morning, packaged in one pound reclosable bags, put under refrigeration to get a good
chill on it, then shipped out that same day with ice gel paks (which adds around three pounds to the total shipping weight).
Open the carton immediately upon arrival and place the brown shipping bag in your refrigerator.  Ann Wigmore says in her book, "The Wheatgrass Book"  that fresh cut wheatgrass remains viable and potent for one week under refrigeration.For best shelf life, maintain temperature at 34 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a thermometer to check the temperature of your refrigerator. Many customers report that our wheatgrass maintains high quality for two and three weeks when stored at a temperature just above freezing.  During extremely cold or extremely hot weather, upon customer request, wheatgrass and salad greens will be shipped in a reusable styrofoam box at an additional cost of $7.00.

Our salad greens are for sale at many health food stores and food coops throughout the Northeastern U.S. Look for them in 3 ounce packages in the produce section. They may also be purchased in 1 lb. bags directly from us, same prices as wheatgrass. Salad greens and wheatgrass may be combined to get quantity pricing.

Organic Composted Soil

Rich soil is a must in the production of nutritious wheatgrass. If you are having trouble growing your own, try our soil. We know it works because we send you the exact same soil we use to grow our own wheatgrass.                                50 lbs.....................$19.95                              200 lbs.....................$57.50   50 lbs. plants approximately twelve  10" x 14" trays or four 10"x20"x2" trays. Our soil may be used as is, straight out of the bag, or mixed with moistened peat moss or other soil to increase the volume. Soil is packaged in 12.5 pound bags for easy lifting and tray filling.     Within the US, soil and trays are  shipped by UPS ground service . UPS charges are based on shipping weight and distance.
